I have tested over 30 pumps in the past 5 years. The CalExotics Smart Pump is the closest thing on the shelf to ours. Here is exactly how the two differ, checked line by line against both makers’ own published specs.
180-day money-back guarantee · discreet packaging
Every row below is something you would notice in a real session, not a line on a spec sheet.

These two are the closest match on this whole site. Same shape, same idea, both with a screen. The difference is how much the machine will actually do for you.

Every control on it exists to fix one of the four reasons men quit pumping: guesswork, effort, discomfort, and never running the same session twice.
See your exact vacuum on the screen. Set a number, hit it every session.

No other pump on the market has such features. Works with water + pressure readout + programmable via app!!

The Pump + Cylinder setup is honestly one of the most well thought out systems I’ve used. From the start, you can tell it’s designed with intention and not just another generic pump. The digital display allows you to clearly track pressure in real time, and the control feels smooth and precise rather than jumpy or inconsistent, which makes a big difference during sessions.

As a person who hadn’t used pumps before this, I was amazed at just how large it made me on the first pump. The pump has easy instructions and the AI mode does all the work for you.
Five rounds. Only the things that genuinely differ. Here is the card.
Round 1How much the machine does for you
Ten smart modes that ramp, hold and release on their own, so you press start and put it down.
Two modes. Manual, where you hold the button, and one smart mode that replays a single pressure you recorded. That is the whole programme.
Round 2Doing the same session tomorrow
The app saves whole routines, so tomorrow repeats today exactly and you can see what you have done.
The pump remembers one pressure. There is no app, so nothing else carries from one session to the next.
Round 3Water sessions
Air or water from the same device. Water spreads the pressure evenly, and air lets you skip the shower entirely.
Air only on this model. CalExotics do sell a waterproof pump, but it is a different product with different features.
Round 4Getting the fit right
7 diameters from 1.5 to 2.87 inches in 2 lengths, and we size it for you at checkout.
One cylinder, 8 inches by 2.5 inches. There is no sizing, so you fit the tube rather than the tube fitting you.
Round 5Price
A Starter Kit is $349. You are paying for the modes, the app, the water mode and a cylinder sized to you.
About $175. They are half our price, and against a pump this capable that is a genuinely strong argument.
Final card 4 – 1Epic Pump takes the four that decide it
Up to a full inch of girth is absolutely possible, and the verified buyers below got there. What they report is size that stayed, not the hour of swelling after a session. Erection quality is the change most men notice first, harder and fuller within weeks, and plenty add length on top of it.

CalExotics products carry a one year manufacturer warranty. Epic comes with a 180-day money back guarantee, and a damaged or faulty pump is replaced free.
This is the closest comparison on our site, so here is the honest version. Both are one-piece electric pumps with a screen, both show your pressure, both time the session, both re-pump when the seal leaks, and both charge over USB. Epic is ahead on four things: ten smart modes against their two, an app that saves whole routines instead of one stored pressure, water mode as well as air, and a cylinder sized to you instead of a single 8 by 2.5 inch tube. They are ahead on price.
It is about $175 against our $349, and against a pump this capable that is a real argument. What the extra buys is ten automatic modes instead of two, an app that stores your routines, the option to run the same session in water, and a cylinder we size for you. If two modes and one saved pressure covers what you want, theirs is a lot of pump for the money.
Yes. Their manual describes an LCD showing battery life, pressure, mode and workout time, so anyone telling you it has no readout is wrong. Their documentation does not state which pressure units it uses. Epic shows the live number in inHG or cmHG and one button swaps between them.
Yes, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Their manual says the pump will automatically re-pump to maintain pressure if it detects air leakage during the exercise modes. Epic does the same. Treat that as a tie and decide on the things that actually differ.
Epic runs in water exactly the way a hydropump does, and switches to air when you would rather not get in the shower. The Advanced Automatic Smart Pump is an air device. CalExotics do sell a waterproof pump in the same range, but it is a different model with a different feature set, so check the model number before you buy on that basis.
Their smart mode runs a recorded pressure for 20 minutes, and holding pressure is capped at 10 minutes. That is plenty for a normal session, since 15 to 20 minutes is the sensible range anyway. Epic runs the mode you chose without those caps.
Stay under 5 inHG of negative pressure, keep sessions to 15 to 20 minutes, and run 2 to 3 sessions a week. Release the pressure straight away if you feel pain, numbness or a colour change. Both pumps put a number on the screen, so neither of you has an excuse for guessing.
Epic comes with a 180-day money back guarantee, and if the pump arrives damaged or develops a fault we replace it free. CalExotics products carry a one year manufacturer warranty.
