The Best Penis Pumps of 2026

We compared 13 penis pumps on what you feel in a real session: how they make the pressure, whether you can see it, and how the seal sits on your body. Then we checked it against 31,000 hours of pumping logged in our app.

5.0 out of 5 from 17 reviews of the Epic Pump

I've Tested 50 Penis Pumps. Here's the Best OneBaseem on YouTube · 7 min

The short answer

The best penis pump for most men is the Epic Pump. It is a one-piece electric pump with a digital pressure screen, water and air modes, and smart modes that pulse the pressure for you. The free app logs every session. New to pumping? The Comfort Kit adds the soft pad and lube most men buy anyway. Whatever you buy, start under 5 inHg, keep sessions to 15 to 20 minutes, and give it months.

Our top picks

Four picks, each for a different kind of buyer. Every Epic Pump kit comes with the free PE Trainer app, our private Discord and a 180-day money back guarantee.

How we picked the winner

Girth comes from steady sessions, month after month. So we judged every pump on the four things that decide whether you keep using it.

1

You can see your pressure

Too much pressure costs you days off. If you can't see the number, you can't repeat a good session. 6 of the 13 show no pressure at all, and only 2 connect to an app.

2

The pump does the work

A motor holds the pressure steady and puts it back when the seal leaks. With a hand pump, your grip decides every set.

3

The seal is comfortable

The red ring at the base is the top complaint about pumping. A soft pad and the right cylinder size let you finish the session.

4

Someone has your back

A plan to follow, people to ask, and a guarantee long enough to actually run the routine.

One pump, four kits

Every kit has the same Epic Pump. Each one comes as Water + Air, or Air only for less. Here is what each kit adds.

What every Epic Pump does

  • A motor in the head makes the vacuum. No hand bulb, no hose.
  • The screen shows your live pressure in inHg or cmHg, with a stopwatch.
  • Auto-hold puts the pressure back if the seal leaks.
  • 10 smart modes ramp, hold and release for you, or run it by hand.
  • One press of the release button lets the vacuum out.
  • Build your own routines in the free app: pressure, hold time and motor speed.
  • A neck strap clips on for hands-free sessions.
  • The head unscrews and packs flat, so it fits in a drawer.

An outside review

  • A motor does the pumping. One button, no squeezing.
  • The exact pressure is on the screen, so tomorrow is the same session.
  • Auto-hold puts the pressure back when the seal leaks.
  • He builds app routines and runs them on camera.

What a penis pump actually does

A pump seals a cylinder around you and lowers the air pressure inside. Blood flows in and you fill out. Done gently and often, over months, that is what builds girth.

0.0 inHg

Typical pumper Top 10% Seal at the base

  1. 1

    Seal at the base

The cylinder rests on a soft pad at the base. A little lube helps it seal and stops the red ring.

  2. 2

    Set your pressure

The Epic Pump makes the vacuum for you and shows the exact number on the screen. Start under 5 inHg.

  3. 3

    Pump in sets

Hold for a few minutes, let the air out, then go again. Interval mode pulses the pressure for you.

How to pump the way our coaches teach it

  1. 1

    Size it right

Use our cylinder sizing calculator. When you start to fill the walls of the cylinder, it is time to size up.

  2. 2

    Go in warm and erect

Warm up first and start fully erect. Going in soft, dry or too fast is what causes red spots. A little lube on the rim helps the seal.

  3. 3

    Start under 5 inHg

A light warm up at about 3 inHg, then low pressure for the first weeks. You should feel full, never pain.

  4. 4

    Pump in short sets

Hold about 2 minutes, let the air out fully, then go again. Never go more than 10 minutes without a break. 15 to 20 minutes in total.

  5. 5

    Pump last

Extender first, then the All Day Stretcher, then the pump. Pumping leaves you swollen, which spoils your cup fit.

  6. 6

    Take rest days

2 to 3 sessions a week to start. Red spots, blisters or puffy skin mean you went too hard. Take a day off.

Warm up at 3 for 3-5 min

Do penis pumps really work

A pump lowers the air pressure around you, so blood flows in and you fill out. That part is instant, and it fades within hours.

Vacuum devices have been used for erectile dysfunction for decades, and many men notice harder erections from pumping. For lasting size, the research is thin. That is why we look at our own app data.

The pattern there is clear. Men who logged more pump hours were more likely to measure thicker months later. Men who only used an extender barely moved their girth.

Nobody can promise you a number. Results vary from man to man.

Stay safe while you pump

Pain, numbness or a color change

Release the pressure straight away. One press of the release button lets the vacuum out.

Red spots

Too much pressure. Go lower next time and rest until they fade.

Puffy skin or a "donut"

Fluid under the skin from too much pressure or too long. Lower the pressure, shorten the sets, and rest until it settles.

Blisters

Usually too much pressure at the rim. Use the soft pad and lube, and rest until they heal.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and have not been evaluated by the FDA. Results vary. Use as directed, and consult your doctor if you have a medical condition or take blood thinners.

Penis pump questions, answered

What is the best penis pump?

For most men, the Epic Pump. It is a one-piece electric pump with a digital pressure screen, water and air modes, and smart modes that pulse the pressure for you. The free app lets you build your own routines and logs every session. If you only pump dry, the Air only version costs less.

Do penis pumps really work?

A pump makes you fuller during and after a session, and many men notice harder erections. Lasting girth takes months of steady sessions. In our app, 72% of men who logged 50 or more hours of pumping measured thicker than when they started. Results vary.

How much girth can you gain with a pump?

It varies a lot from man to man. In our app, the typical pumper had added about 0.2 inches of girth by month 12, and the top 10% had added about 0.6 inches or more. Girth goes all the way around, so a small number in inches is a real change. You can see real before and after photos on our results page.

Are penis pump results permanent?

The swelling right after a session fades within hours. What lasts is built slowly, over months of steady sessions. Measure on a rest day, once the swelling is gone, or you will fool yourself. That is why our app data tracks girth month by month.

How long should I pump?

Sessions of 15 to 20 minutes, 2 to 3 times a week, is the safe place to start. Pump in short sets: hold about 2 minutes, let the air out fully, then go again. Never go more than 10 minutes without a break. A typical pump day in our app is 20 minutes.

What pressure should I use?

Start low and stay under 5 inHg. More pressure is not better. It brings red spots and puffy skin, and those cost you days off. The Epic Pump shows your exact pressure on the screen, so every session starts where the last good one did.

Water or air pump: which is better?

Water spreads the pressure evenly, and some men like to pump in the shower. Air is near-silent, with no cleanup, and our coaches mostly pump with air. The Epic Pump Water + Air version does both from the same device.

Hand pump or electric pump?

With a hand pump, your grip decides the pressure and you pump it back up when it leaks. An electric pump like the Epic Pump makes the vacuum for you, shows the number, and puts the pressure back if the seal leaks.

What size cylinder do I need?

Pick a cylinder 2 to 3 inches longer than your erect length, with room around your shaft. The Epic Pump comes with 7 diameters from 1.5 to 2.87 inches, 9 or 12 inches long. Our cylinder sizing calculator picks one for you.

Can I use a pump and an extender together?

Yes, and most of our pumpers do. Use the extender first and the pump last. Pumping leaves you swollen, so doing it last keeps your extender cup fit right.

Penis pump or extender: which is better?

They do different jobs. The extender mostly builds length and the pump mostly builds girth. In our app, men who extended without pumping barely moved their girth. If you want both, see our best penis extenders guide.

Why do I get a red ring at the base?

The rim of the cylinder presses into your skin. A soft silicone pad at the base, a little lube and lower pressure fix it for most men.

Is a penis pump safe?

Used as directed, yes for most men. Start under 5 inHg, keep sessions to 15 to 20 minutes and take rest days. Release the pressure straight away if you feel pain or numbness, or see a color change. If you take blood thinners or have a medical condition, talk to your doctor first.

Can a pump help with erectile dysfunction?

Many men notice harder erections from pumping. But if you have erectile dysfunction, see your doctor first. It can be a sign of another health problem, and some vacuum devices are made and sold just for ED.

Are penis pumps FDA approved?

Some vacuum devices made for erectile dysfunction are FDA cleared as medical devices. Most pumps sold for size are not. Our products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Is the Epic Pump loud?

If quiet matters most, get the Air only version. Its motor is near-silent, so someone in the next room hears nothing.

Do I need the app to use the Epic Pump?

No. The pump works on its own, with manual control and built-in smart modes. The free PE Trainer app adds custom routines and keeps a log of every session.

How much does a good penis pump cost?

The Epic Pump Starter Kit starts at $299 for the Air only version and $349 for Water + Air. The Comfort Kit, with the soft pad and lube, starts at $377. Our 3 in 1 Pump is $99. Every Epic Pump comes with a 180-day money back guarantee.
