Epic Pump vs Elite Pump

I have tested over 30 pumps in the past 5 years. Elite Pump is the benchtop machine people keep asking me about. Here is exactly how the two differ, checked line by line against both makers’ own published specs.

What makes Epic Pro so superior

Every control on it exists to fix one of the four reasons men quit pumping: guesswork, effort, discomfort, and never running the same session twice.

  • Nothing to assemble, nothing to buy. One piece, and the cylinder that fits you is in the box.
  • Water or air, same device. Water spreads the pressure evenly. Air is near-silent, with no cleanup.
  • Press start and walk away. 10 auto-cycling modes ramp, hold, release and repeat on their own.
  • You always know the number. Live pressure readout and a built-in timer, right on the head.
  • No cord, no bench. It charges over USB-C and runs a full session anywhere.

Epic set-up

The Pump + Cylinder setup is honestly one of the most well thought out systems I’ve used. From the start, you can tell it’s designed with intention and not just another generic pump. The digital display allows you to clearly track pressure in real time, and the control feels smooth and precise rather than jumpy or inconsistent, which makes a big difference during sessions.

As a person who hadn’t used pumps before this

As a person who hadn’t used pumps before this, I was amazed at just how large it made me on the first pump. The pump has easy instructions and the AI mode does all the work for you.

Where it actually matters

Seven rounds. Same test for both pumps. Here is the card.

Epic Pump 61 Elite Pump

Round 1What is actually in the box

Wins the round

The pump and the cylinder that fits you, sized at checkout. Open it and run a session the same day.

Loses

The pump, a cord, a hose and some filters. No cylinder, and they do not sell one, so you go and buy a cylinder with a 1/4 inch quick-connect adapter before you can use it once.

Round 2Getting your money back

Wins the round

180 days, and you are meant to have used it. Run the routine, and if you are not happy we refund you.

Loses

Their refund page says all sales are final, with no returns, refunds or exchanges once it has shipped. If it is not for you, that is your money gone.

Round 3Power and where you can use it

Wins the round

Charges over USB-C and runs cordless. Desk, bed, hotel room, no socket involved.

Loses

An AC cord into a wall socket. It is a benchtop machine, so your session happens wherever the plug is.

Round 4Water sessions

Wins the round

Air or water from the same device. Water spreads the pressure evenly, and air lets you skip the shower entirely.

Loses

Air only, and it is mains powered, so water is not on the table at all.

Round 5How fast you can start

Wins the round

Shipped in 24 hours on weekdays, sized and ready.

Loses

They quote 5 to 7 days to ship the v2 and 18 to 21 days in transit to the US. Then you still need to buy a cylinder.

Round 6Running without a battery

Loses

Over 10 sessions per charge is plenty for a week, but it is still a battery you have to remember.

Wins the round

Mains power means it never needs charging and a session can run as long as you like. This one is theirs.

Round 7Cover if it develops a fault

Wins the round

If your pump develops a fault we replace it, free. Not a repair, not store credit, a new pump.

Loses

One year against defects, and their page says they decide between a free repair, a replacement or store credit. You ship the faulty unit back to them first.

Results are permanent and real

Up to a full inch of girth is absolutely possible, and the verified buyers below got there. What they report is size that stayed, not the hour of swelling after a session. Erection quality is the change most men notice first, harder and fuller within weeks, and plenty add length on top of it.

180 days, or all sales final

Elite state that all sales are final once your order ships. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges. We give you 180 days and we expect you to have used it. Run the routine, and if you are not happy we refund you. That is the whole offer.

Straight answers

Is Epic Pump better than Elite Pump?

For most men, yes, and mainly for two reasons that have nothing to do with the electronics. Epic arrives with the cylinder that fits you, and you get 180 days to change your mind. Elite ships no cylinder at all and their own page says all sales are final. Where Elite is genuinely ahead is mains power, which means no charging and no limit on session length.

Does Elite Pump come with a cylinder?

No. Their box list is the pump, an AC power cord, hose fittings, a silicone hose, filters and decals. They do not sell a cylinder either, so you have to source one elsewhere and it needs a 1/4 inch quick-connect female adapter to fit their hose. Every Epic kit ships with the cylinder already sized to you.

Elite Pump v2 is cheaper. Why pay more?

The v2 is $249.99 and an Epic Pump Starter Kit is $349. That gap closes the moment you buy the cylinder you need to use it at all, and it closes further when you realise you cannot send the v2 back. The Elite Pump Ultra is $349.99, so at the top of their range you are paying slightly more than Epic and still supplying your own cylinder.

Can I use Epic Pump in water? Can Elite?

Epic runs in water exactly the way a hydropump does, and switches to air when you would rather not get in the shower. Elite is an air pump that plugs into a wall socket, so water sessions are not an option.

How much pressure is safe?

Stay under 5 inHG of negative pressure, keep sessions to 15 to 20 minutes, and run 2 to 3 sessions a week. Release the pressure straight away if you feel pain, numbness or a colour change. Worth knowing that Elite publish a maximum of 43.2 cmHG, which is 17 inHG, so their machine will happily take you far past the safe range if you let it.

Does a pump add girth permanently?

Pumping gives you a clear temporary size increase right after a session, and harder erections within a few weeks of consistent use. Permanent girth retention is modest and takes months of regular sessions. Anyone promising big permanent gains fast is selling you something.

What size cylinder do I need?

Diameter matters more than length. Too narrow bruises you, too wide swells the base and kills the seal. Epic cylinders come in 7 diameters from 1.5 to 2.87 inches and 2 lengths, and we size it for you at checkout. Elite offer no sizing at all, because the only choice on their product page is which wall plug you want.

What if it does not work for me?

You have 180 days with Epic, and you are meant to have used it. If the pump itself develops a fault we replace it free. Elite state that all sales are final once your order ships, and their cover is a one-year warranty on defects where they decide between a repair, a replacement or store credit. Neither of those lets you change your mind.

No socket. No missing cylinder
