I’m only about 4.5”. Not quite micro, but certainly under average. 10 years or more ago, I looked into extenders, and at the time anyway, what I found were noose type devices. Certainly looked painful, and reviews indicated it could cause injury. So I didn’t buy. Off and on I’ve looked at options like surgery, pumps, etc. Nothing really looked like something that would really work until I saw this. I’ve used some pumps before but this is my first extender type product and seems very well made.
My first attempt to use it, I put it on backwards. Once I realized it, I thought how stupid of me. But in my defense, the animation on this site actually shows it backwards! What do I mean? The base is horseshoe shaped. First time I used it, I put the hoop under the scrotum. It sure didn’t seem right. Then I realized that the top of the hoop goes above the penis, supported by pubic bone. Quite obvious after I realized it. But as I said, there actually is an animation here with it wrong.
The contraption is quite large. Obviously can’t hide it under your pants, this has to be used in private. For something more discrete, they have an all-day stretcher.
As far as learning curve, there is a little, but it is pretty easy. First time rolling up the sleeve and putting on the cup seemed awkward. By the second time it was already no big deal. The only other small amount of learning curve is putting your D in the sling so to speak. And I said, I put the horseshoe base on backwards the first time. By the second time I put it on right and already no big deal.
Some users complained the silicone sleeves didn’t last long. I’ve only used it a few times so far, so I’m not sure. But my initial impression is that they should last a fair amount of time. But I’ve ordered a pair of extras expecting to need some eventually. The only other thing that might wear out is the base. That looks like it will last a long time but you can get spare if you need it.
Another user complained that his head would pull out of the cup under tension. My first thought is maybe he is using a cup size too large? For me, I did notice that under tension, my head would pull down a little, but perhaps that is normal. I did have to tweak the tension knobs during the session a bit to keep the tension up. I do wonder if the head will stay in properly if I get to very high tension. Will the cup/sleeve really support 15-20 lbs tension? I don’t really know. So far i’ve used 7 lbs, and my head did pull down a little and I did need to tweak the dials some during the session, but basically worked okay. But will it work at high tension? I guess I will find out. I’m sure there are options to explore if I have problems at higher tension levels.
So far, I’m not using the tape. I understand that the tape helps prevent bruising. And if I start having bruising I guess I will start using the tape.
It came assembled with lbs showing me. If you want kg showing you, it looks like you have to disassemble it.
