What is the best penis pump?
For most men, the Epic Pump. It is a one-piece electric pump with a digital pressure screen, water and air modes, and smart modes that pulse the pressure for you. The free app lets you build your own routines and logs every session. If you only pump dry, the Air only version costs less.
Do penis pumps really work?
A pump makes you fuller during and after a session, and many men notice harder erections. Lasting girth takes months of steady sessions. In our app, 72% of men who logged 50 or more hours of pumping measured thicker than when they started. Results vary.
How much girth can you gain with a pump?
It varies a lot from man to man. In our app, the typical pumper had added about 0.2 inches of girth by month 12, and the top 10% had added about 0.6 inches or more. Girth goes all the way around, so a small number in inches is a real change. You can see real before and after photos on our results page.
Are penis pump results permanent?
The swelling right after a session fades within hours. What lasts is built slowly, over months of steady sessions. Measure on a rest day, once the swelling is gone, or you will fool yourself. That is why our app data tracks girth month by month.
How long should I pump?
Sessions of 15 to 20 minutes, 2 to 3 times a week, is the safe place to start. Pump in short sets: hold about 2 minutes, let the air out fully, then go again. Never go more than 10 minutes without a break. A typical pump day in our app is 20 minutes.
What pressure should I use?
Start low and stay under 5 inHg. More pressure is not better. It brings red spots and puffy skin, and those cost you days off. The Epic Pump shows your exact pressure on the screen, so every session starts where the last good one did.
Water or air pump: which is better?
Water spreads the pressure evenly, and some men like to pump in the shower. Air is near-silent, with no cleanup, and our coaches mostly pump with air. The Epic Pump Water + Air version does both from the same device.
Hand pump or electric pump?
With a hand pump, your grip decides the pressure and you pump it back up when it leaks. An electric pump like the Epic Pump makes the vacuum for you, shows the number, and puts the pressure back if the seal leaks.
What size cylinder do I need?
Pick a cylinder 2 to 3 inches longer than your erect length, with room around your shaft. The Epic Pump comes with 7 diameters from 1.5 to 2.87 inches, 9 or 12 inches long. Our cylinder sizing calculator picks one for you.
Can I use a pump and an extender together?
Yes, and most of our pumpers do. Use the extender first and the pump last. Pumping leaves you swollen, so doing it last keeps your extender cup fit right.
Penis pump or extender: which is better?
They do different jobs. The extender mostly builds length and the pump mostly builds girth. In our app, men who extended without pumping barely moved their girth. If you want both, see our best penis extenders guide.
Why do I get a red ring at the base?
The rim of the cylinder presses into your skin. A soft silicone pad at the base, a little lube and lower pressure fix it for most men.
Is a penis pump safe?
Used as directed, yes for most men. Start under 5 inHg, keep sessions to 15 to 20 minutes and take rest days. Release the pressure straight away if you feel pain or numbness, or see a color change. If you take blood thinners or have a medical condition, talk to your doctor first.
Can a pump help with erectile dysfunction?
Many men notice harder erections from pumping. But if you have erectile dysfunction, see your doctor first. It can be a sign of another health problem, and some vacuum devices are made and sold just for ED.
Are penis pumps FDA approved?
Some vacuum devices made for erectile dysfunction are FDA cleared as medical devices. Most pumps sold for size are not. Our products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Is the Epic Pump loud?
If quiet matters most, get the Air only version. Its motor is near-silent, so someone in the next room hears nothing.
Do I need the app to use the Epic Pump?
No. The pump works on its own, with manual control and built-in smart modes. The free PE Trainer app adds custom routines and keeps a log of every session.
How much does a good penis pump cost?
The Epic Pump Starter Kit starts at $299 for the Air only version and $349 for Water + Air. The Comfort Kit, with the soft pad and lube, starts at $377. Our 3 in 1 Pump is $99. Every Epic Pump comes with a 180-day money back guarantee.
